I am selling handmade paracord monkeys fist keychains. Each is made with 550 paracord and the center weight is a 4oz lead ball bearing. They come in an assortment of colors including black,gray,white,tan,blue,pink,digital acu,and woodland camo. price is $ 10.00 plus shipping.

I should have asked to post all of the colors besides pink, but my Wife said she may carry one if it were pink. Lol!

Also, how long is the cord between the end (the keychain end), and the monkey's fist? I like the idea of it being short (only a few inches), but able to be pulled out, or unwound quickly to give length so you could swing it in a defensive situation. OR, is it supposed to be more like a "slapjack" (lead filled leather strap) where it is to be used with the monkeys fist and keys close together without unraveling any cord?

Please elaborate on how these are used the best. Thanks

well I can make them any length you like, I carry mine on my keys and is about 4 inches and can be adjusted up to 9 inches. I make them with a tight slipknot so they can be adjusted but wont slide up and down with daily use.

I like to keep them on the key ring and you can have your keys in your hand and pull on the monkeys fist to get the full length of the cord

I think they're cool. Btw, is the one in your original post black? Last, what does the woodland look like?

I'd also imagine that if hit on the "noggin" with the 4oz ball bearing, that would leave a mark. Lol!

Imo, you should shoot a youtube clip of a monkey's fist in action. Did you have a chance to upload pics of the fists in woodland, black, od green, etc.,?

I think these would sell faster if people saw them in action.
