F/S: New, genuine Rizzuto Estileto Milano.

Post by Fishtail Picklock »

I'm back form my trip to Baja California Norte. (I arrived at home at 9:52 p.m. last night.) While scouring the Tijuana Tiendas, I found them... Two new "step bolster" genuine Estilleto Rizzuto Milano knives, sitting in the display case!

They both have Estilleto Rizzuto Milano stamped on the blade, have black scales, and are 10 1/4" long. These are new knives and have plenty of "snap".

I am offering one for $60 + shipping to your door.

If interested send me a PM.

Thanks! Fishtail has mentioned more than once about spotting Rizzutos and Rizzuto clones in the tiendas he frequents on his trips to Mexico. I'm glad he decided to bring a couple back with him this time, thanks Fishtail! I'm looking forward to its arrival.

Congrats BTB, glad you got it! Are they new, old-stock....or is a newly produced "Rizzuto Estileto" about ready to surface everywhere online? What are the variations? The suspense is killing me. Can't wait to see pics!!

All that I know is that these are identical to the original knives made during the late 1950's through the early 1980's. The only difference is that they have the "step" bolsters on them. The older models have the "full" bolsters. (Bolsters without the step.)

I hope that this helps.

BTB already has a picture of one just like it. The only difference is that the kickspring on the new knife does not protrude from between the liners. (Ask BTB to post the picture.)

Gunner, I hope you don't mind but I kinda borrowed a pic from your photobucket account to show Fishtail  With your permission I'll post it. Like Fishtail stated in his original description, its one of the large step-bolster Rizzutos. Some may know it as the "Christine" movie knife. One would assume its probably new old-stock.

I hope that everyone realizes by now that I'm not out to "make a mint" from my Mexican purchases. I wanted to allow someone to share the fun of visiting Baja California Norte without leaving their computer.

I'll tell of my adventures another place on the site.

I was fortunate a few months back to get one of the white handled large size "batwing" type. Fortunate for the same reason; that it came from a trusted seller that purchased it in Mexico in the early 90s.
It's neat to know because my first switchblade at age 11 in the early 80's was a large size black handle Rizzi from Tijuana Meh-hee-ko.
