Thanks again. I've just gotten a website; it's a bit rough for now but I'm working on it. There are some more knives of this type, plus some shots of the picklock style I was making the last few years. Just click the link in my profile signature.

Tried off and on all day, and I can't seem to get your site to load for me.
Re: tr4252 - Turquoise Custom Stiletto
Beautiful work. I see you're not a safety guy either.

I'm sorry if you can't see it, Terry. I'm still working on it, maybe some settings are off or something. I noticed it appeared in my signature on your forum.whippersnapper wrote:Tried off and on all day, and I can't seem to get your site to load for me.

Thank you.fastr19 wrote:Beautiful work. I see you're not a safety guy either.
Those earlier models (I called them ST3's) didn't have a safety as you noticed, and I was never comfortable with that. Since I design every part, I'd hoped to come up with an original type of safety. I'm still working on that.
I feel that the ST4 pushbutton recess helps prevent accidental firing a lot. I make them so that the button has to go deeper than the surface of the frame before the blade is released. Also, I use a fairly stiff spring under it, to further resist accidental release.

Absolutely a top shelf stiletto. I wish I had a spare $475. but I got two kids in college. Maybe in four years, but I know it will be long gone by then.

I visited your website, http://www.tr4252knives.com, your work is amazing. I was blown away. They look like museum pieces. Whenever you sell one you should include a pair of white cotton gloves. Beautiful knives, beautiful art.
