I hear ya' Vag. One of the stones I use is technically 400 grit, but it is marked borride. Gee, I wish I hadn't slept in chemistry class.

Even with stones and various grit sizes, I feel the same as I do with Rc hardness ratings. You reach a certain point, and then after that it's just braggin' rights.

But my question is, what do they use londaleite for, anyway?

But, IF they can syntesize it they will use it as a possible replacement for dianond on some cutting tools or abrasives
