went back to the lake with my buddy this weekend....only one trout, and one large mouth bass, but as always the panfish saved the day with me getting 48 and my friend 31.....fun day but we were looking for the newly stocked trout that kept jumping out of the water but did not want to bite....

After being the only one that would come home everyday with 2 or 3 rainbow I showed my dad the 2 places where I kept pulling them all from because he wasn't getting many bites. It turned out my favorite spots were the same spots that the Fish and Game were planting them at in the river.

The smallest fish I ever [legitimately] CAUGHT was about an inch and a half. There is a limit due to lure size vs mouth size - in the size hook they can get in there mouth
I have sort of caught smaller ones that "hit" at the lure but these were "foul-hooked/snagged".
I have "pulled out" very small ones that bit a bait [and couldn't let go] before they were in my hand but, these were not "hooked" - just "hung on too long

Sweet fish
About the same size trout I catch in this little lake up in the mountains here.
(with a rod, that is, with a net we get the bigger ones. But that's for food on the table, not for "fishing")

I absolutely LOVE that you got ørret right in the header! Vagrant for the win!
(in my dialect it's "aure", but that's just a technicality, LOL)

I'll be back 8)

Translaters are great for correct spelling but for actual pronounciation you have to HEAR it spoken by a "native"
