Re: Worlds crappiest switchblade thread.
Here is another one that probably deserves a place in this thread. This is from the "Magic Knife" build your own stiletto kit. I think they come in a 9 inch size and a smaller one. While they are cool to learn the inside mechanism and workings they are far from quality. Very easy to assemble and take just a few minutes. Crappy chrome plated pot metal bolsters and frame just screams quality!
To actually get them tuned and dependable for any respectible mall ninja manuevers you have to possess billdeshivs DNA....lol
PS- Although I probably would have traded a daisy BB gun for one as a 7 year old.

Re: Worlds crappiest switchblade thread.
The crooked way “Stiletto” is printed on the blade makes this one scream cheap as well. I’m sure it was fun to put together no doubt. Kind of like the Edge Co kits.whippersnapper wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:15 pm Here is another one that probably deserves a place in this thread. The Edgeco kits were top shelf compared to the magic knife kits.Mario wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 2:26 amThe crooked way “Stiletto” is printed on the blade makes this one scream cheap as well. I see your cheapie and raise you three. Its like someone set out to make toy switchblades for children and mistakenly put metal blades them.

Those are kind of neat though.
Re: Worlds crappiest switchblade thread.
The designs are kinda cool looking. I'm guessing the handles are plastic?

The handles are die-cast zinc.

No doubt the designs have some style. Functionally though, there is room for desire. Only two of the 4 work. I believe Bill is right and these are made of die cast zinc. Buttons are plastic. I'd sure like to know what those characters mean.
