Your oldest Latama?

Post by WheelingWV »

Sorry if this is redundant. For “vintage” Latama collectors - I’m curious, what’s your earliest in terms of date produced? I do understand that the early ones can be nearly impossible to attach an exact date to. I’d love to see pictures. I’ll post mine when it arrives.

I had to pick one of two as my oldest, not sure which came first. But, I'll choose this 8" Flatguard Picklock I believe from the late 1940's...

Is that 8" (the light horn one) the kind that has two pins on the top of the back scale.

I like them all. I guess it's about time I join the club. I have a lot of the new ones, I do need an old one. Looking for some help guys. If you have one or know of one I would greatly appreciative. I guess everyone is looking for one.

I went looking for them and found a fifth one...all Latamas.
bottom 6 1/4, 8, 9, 8 7, all inches. The rarest seems to be the 7 incher.
