I keep romanticizing the 9" kris blade picklock from the 1950s

I can't get the image of a "riverboat gambler" out of my head that would snap out one of these in a card-table/bar room dispute.

Am I just a romantic old fool or did this have a place during the old days of card sharps, long-tailed coats and Coachman (low top) hats?

Actually 10" (25cm) 5mm. Designed by Renzo Pascotto in 2012 (kris blades either 2014 or 2016 runs) for A.G.A. Campolin. They are gorgeous knives!
