It seems to me that if it is stamped AKC and it is made in Asia it is counterfeit. To my knowledge, AKC has not exported any of their manufacturing.

Only mark on it is on the boss of the blade that says AUS-8. I sent an email to AKC about this so we'll see what they say.

You asked AKC about it? They tell you it's counterfeit? I guess I'll get the same answer from them.

True that. What I'm trying to say is that if AKC is ok with them making the knife that would not make it a counterfeit, right?
I guess it's safe to say an Italian Stiletto style knife. For a while I thought it was actually made in Italy. It's made well.

Hello, yes is made in Taiwan. We didn't know about counterfeit. Can you send a pics?
This tells me that they know about it and endorses it. It's not a counterfeit.

Everything is made somewhere in Asia now. America is about to be royally screwed when the supply chain dries up shortly.
