It's Time to Play What's Your Favorite.........Again

Post by The Falcon »

I know we've played this game before but there are new members and new knives so...............

1. If you HAD to carry a non-auto EDC, what would it be?

2. If you HAD to carry an automatic EDC, what would it be?

3. If you were in a bad part of town at a bad time of night and there
were some bad dudes around, what FOLDING knife (no Bowies,
machetes, or swords) would you choose?
I collect springblades but I carry my "thumbers."

I take it it's what we own not what are fantasy knives would be.

1) I love my BM Stryker had it for years ,carried it for years and I feel it's part of me.

2)MT/ LCC Goddamn thing is built like a tank and operates like a bank safe.

3) In the situation you describe I would be much more comfortable with a FB but if it had to be something that folds I would rely on my LCC again.

From my collection:

1. My Gerber lockback, one of those rubber "gator" handled ones. Sharp, loose enough to flip open one handed and locks up solid.

2. Benchmade 9130S Locks up solid and scalpel sharp.

3. This really cheap Pakastani knife I got at a gun show. It's an oversized copy of a Buck 110, I'm guessing about 12" long with the same proportions as a Buck. I chose it because it is so huge and loose enough to snap open one handed. It makes a loud snap when opened and considering how cheap it was, it's actually quite sharp. It would definitely get someones attention.

.45 Revolver [Knives have their place but if serious social work is needed, get a gun].

Well in that case if you can carry a 45. I can mount my 50. in the back of my wagon. I thought this was knives only.

1-Non-auto Kershaw Blackout.

2-Auto Benchmade Mini Stryker

3-Kel-Tec P-32 and I'm not going to change that because everybody knows it's not actually considered a Firearm  more like a party favor, or noise maker.

Honorable mention my Benchmade 42 Balisong, it actually goes everywhere with me also but the Blackout is used more.

OK, it's my turn.

1. Emerson CQC7 w/WAVE (probably no surprise there).

2. MT LCC (gotta go with PB on this one) but if I wasn't so cheap I'd
pick the LCC's upscale cousin, the ATCF Terzuola).

3. Cold Steel Vaquero Grande (the biggest, wickedest knife that will
fit in a pocket) but if I wasn't so thrifty I be tempted to carry the
MT CFO just for the shock effect of a big OTF.

Assuming this is from stock we now have...

1.) Kershaw Blackout

2.) MT Vector

3.) CFO II (it doesn't 'fold' but it does retract so hopefully that's the same) 8)
