(1) My edc (reg) would be my Buck 110 because it works good ! (2) My edc (auto) would be any cheap chinese "stiletto" (9 ") 'cause if I HAD to get rid of it , I would't feel bad about the "loss" (3) would have to be a 13" Italian stiletto w/ Dagger blade !

1. If you HAD to carry a non-auto EDC, what would it be?

2. If you HAD to carry an automatic EDC, what would it be?

3. If you were in a bad part of town at a bad time of night and there
were some bad dudes around, what FOLDING knife (no Bowies,
machetes, or swords) would you choose?
1) MoD LadyHawk manual
2) MoD LadyHawk auto
3) Spyderco Civilian but as a backup to a sawn-off shotgun and my 45

I have the Ladyhawk [auto], and MT Kestrel and Vector [autos] for the yard I use a Kukuri [var. spl.]. The "hook" has it's place in the world.

Ain't that the truth! I shan't list all mine but they range from bearclaws to lagriffes to an Emerson Karambit.
I've had a Ladyhawk auto for almost a couple of months and it's become my alltime favourite, I feel naked whenever I have to go somewhere without her! I'm planning on getting a manual version asap.
I've a khukri too, that has to be the most intimidating blade ever (really good on brush in the garden too) In addition to my tradition gardening billhooks I also use a Blackjack/Big country Hookr. Typically I can dull 4 billhooks in an afternoon, the Hook'r is still shaving sharp as received from Ken Warner!
(Dear Lord, is this the end of the world as we know it? Gardening tips on a switchblade forum, on a thread about carry knives and potentially heavy social situations  )

Don't knock it till you've tried it :)

Very, very functional for most knife tasks, extremely good cutters, often better "pointers" than the design might make you think. Of course, an Extrema Ratio Nemesis or a sq button Latama is better at buttering toast than an Emerson Karambit
