Agree completly Jim. Some people just have to learn the hard way I guess. I'm sure there are thousands like Dizzy-Bee selling things all over the internet. Look on the bright side $14 bucks apiece I've seen them go higher 8)

PB,

Yes, but I remember the day when you and Vagrant and Greyblade answered my first post on the old orange and brown. Thanks to the good folks in the collector community, I was spared from much of the deception and received some great advice. Now, I just try to do what I can to prevent newcomers from being taken.

I started with one of her "two for the price of one" deals and look where I am today.

cheapo clones let me finance better and better stuff until it's almost like a real business. All I really wanted was "one good Switchblade" now I want everyone to have several good ones, preferably from me, but that's not important. I just want them available and impossible to suppress, control, or eliminate. I want people a hundred years from now to be able to get them, [and have more to choose from]. I could go on but it sounds too serious, and above all this should be FUN!!!!

Mr. James Dee-

It is a virtual miracle that I never succumbed to Tizzey Bea's "come hithers." Given that I have the impulse control of a randy wart hog, I don't really know how it is that I don't own an over priced, "No China Milano." I have certainly paid more for a knife (or two) than it/they was/were worth; probably will again. One thing that has/does help is you. I keep reading what others post, and I get a little more informed. Please, don't stop pointing out (and emailing) irresponsible sellers. You perform a much greater service than you are likely to ever know.

I am a relative rookie in this game and by having discovered this forum at the same time I found BA, I also benefited most handily by y'all's heads-up & advice, thereby avoiding the wiles of the dizzy tizzy beeahtch. Thanks to the sacrifices of those who went before, I too was saved.

In a somewhat related story, I see that Georgia Knife Company and the travelling Ona show have been booted from eBay Wednesday. :P

Floater,

My story is the same as yours. I had input from the folks here before making my first purchase (which was from our host, SKM).
