Kick springs sticking out past handles

Thanks guys for all your input.
Fastr19 that is a great group of knives and I wouldn't mind owning any of them,
even the ones that do protrude.
I still think that all else being the same, I would rather they didn't stickout, but
I guess the most important thing is the knife functions properly.
