Re: Movie Switch's
I was watching an episode of "the family guy" on tv yesterday and the dog {brian} on the show became a police dog and they busted a ring of midget drug dealers and got into a fight with them and one of them pulled an OTF on the dog but he whooped him anyways lol kinda cheesy referance but it was an automatic in a tv series so I guess it belongs here too.

Re: Movie Switch's
Bob Hope's movie "My Favorite Brunette" has an old American auto that shows up several times in the movie. The guy that uses it is the same actor that played the professor's side kick in "20,000 Leauges Under the Sea."

Nice one. I've seen this episode but forgot all about that part. This is the second Family Guy episode so far with a switch, "The Thin White Line"...redeye wrote:I was watching an episode of "the family guy" on tv yesterday and the dog {brian} on the show became a police dog and they busted a ring of midget drug dealers and got into a fight with them and one of them pulled an OTF on the dog but he whooped him anyways lol kinda cheesy referance but it was an automatic in a tv series so I guess it belongs here too.

Re: Movie Switch's
I watched "The Runaways" last night. The gal who plays Joan Jett (Kristen Stewart) flashes what looks like a 9" black stil.

Re: Movie Switch's
Here's an interesting old American horror movie with a cast mostly made up of real carnival workers. There's a swinguard in it and some other unidentifiable knives that are probably switchblades. Freaks (1932)...

Re: Movie Switch's
That swing guard looks like the one in Never A Dull Moment. What do you think?
Re: Movie Switch's
They do look similar, but there is a 40 year timespan between when the two films were made. I suppose that doesn't mean for sure that it's not the same kind of knife, but I kinda doubt it. Too bad there isn't a better shot of the knife in Freaks so we could know for sure.Bama wrote:That swing guard looks like the one in Never A Dull Moment. What do you think?

Wonder if that isn't a 13"er.
Re: Movie Switch's
The Simpson's show on "Who Shot Montgomery Burns" has an auto. Side Show Bob had one in the town hall meeting.
Re: Movie Switch's
I've been going through several pages of posts skipping around from one to another. It's just amazing how many movies use autos. They have a power that's difficult to name. I just love it. I need a fix now and I'm going to go play with some of my knives. I need to feel the snap, the click, the power. I'm addicted. Where's the nears AA (Automatics Anonymous) organization.
