I was watching an episode of "the family guy" on tv yesterday and the dog {brian} on the show became a police dog and they busted a ring of midget drug dealers and got into a fight with them and one of them pulled an OTF on the dog but he whooped him anyways lol kinda cheesy referance but it was an automatic in a tv series so I guess it belongs here too.

Bob Hope's movie "My Favorite Brunette" has an old American auto that shows up several times in the movie. The guy that uses it is the same actor that played the professor's side kick in "20,000 Leauges Under the Sea."

Nice one. I've seen this episode but forgot all about that part. This is the second Family Guy episode so far with a switch, "The Thin White Line"...

I watched "The Runaways" last night. The gal who plays Joan Jett (Kristen Stewart) flashes what looks like a 9" black stil.

Here's an interesting old American horror movie with a cast mostly made up of real carnival workers. There's a swinguard in it and some other unidentifiable knives that are probably switchblades. Freaks (1932)...

They do look similar, but there is a 40 year timespan between when the two films were made. I suppose that doesn't mean for sure that it's not the same kind of knife, but I kinda doubt it. Too bad there isn't a better shot of the knife in Freaks so we could know for sure.

The Simpson's show on "Who Shot Montgomery Burns" has an auto. Side Show Bob had one in the town hall meeting.

I've been going through several pages of posts skipping around from one to another. It's just amazing how many movies use autos. They have a power that's difficult to name. I just love it. I need a fix now and I'm going to go play with some of my knives. I need to feel the snap, the click, the power. I'm addicted. Where's the nears AA (Automatics Anonymous) organization.
