Btb, the Peter Gunn footage was actually an attempt to stymie you a little. That was the most obscure thing I could come up with off the top of my head. You've come up with everything else... so let me try this one on you... I don't think there's a switch in it, but I saw this at the '92 or '93 Santa Barbara independent film festival. It's called The Healer and is about an ambulance driver who rides a yellow Norton Commando in this off time.

Dig up a copy and I'll be surprised.

I was the wash and wax boy at the motorcycle shop that supplied the bike, and the producer was a regular customer. Last I saw the bike shop, they were making it into a Tattoo parlor.
I walked a mile in my enemy's shoes.... And then I stole his shoes.

That film was actually shown in the '94 SB Independant Film Festival. Only around 2,100 people have seen it, and unfortunately it was never digitized. I was able to find the writer of the film and he says that he has two vhs copies. I'm sure he would be interested in talking to you if you would like to pm me an email address I could forward to him. Don't think it has a switchblade in it though, so back to the knives :D ...

Stephen Kings The Stand possibly,
A woman ( Rita ) was sent to spy on the bad guys in Las Vegas. In the book she had a stiletto switchblade on her wrist below her shirt sleeves, but in the movie I think it is more of an Assassins Creed type automatic "wristblade"
I think I remember Peter Sellers on The Pink Panther having a switchblade.

1 easy & 1 hard...

I know Shia LaBeef has one in the new Indiana Jones movie, I think an italian...

now the movie La Bamba, when they go down to Mexico, there is a scene where a street vendor is yelling "Bullwhips...switchblades!" and cracks a whip and flicks what I believe was a rizzuto....if I really remember correctly, it was a batwing, because I always remember the guards as looking too big back then....

Lets see them skills, B!

PS, I bet the copyright would be hell, but I bet a book compiled of famous knives in movies would be a good seller, particularly swithblades in movies...

Looks like a Rizzuto and a Nato style otf. Is it just me or does it look like they taped up the blade of that Rizzuto...

Yup, you are right. They should have stuck with a switchblade like in the book IMHO. Here is the wrist thing...

Those guards do look kinda big in the second shot, but I don't think they are batwing...

Those are great finds BTB!
I'd forgotten about the one in the Indiana Jones movie. Really cool, H Ford is one of my favorite actors, I found out later in life I have the same birthday as he does.
This has turned into a 70s / 80s movie knife thread and they are almost all Rizzis or Nato type

Nice work, and yes, you were right about "Losin It", wow. Can I call you Rain Man? :D

A little harder here on this one, but what about Zack Galafanackis (?) in the Hangover, he flicks an auto and cuts his hand on the roof at the beginning...
