Our prayers and condolences go out to the family. This must be unexpected and hard, if he still has auctions up. Rest in peace, Gator!

My condolences to Gator's family.
I'm a bit confused though , I thought JAY a member here was the owner of T.K.A. unless it changed hands recently.

While I am sorry to hear that Gator has passed, I must issue this correction, he was not the one who ran the Knife Auction. It is this man:
" Best regards,
Jay Johnson

www.theknifeauction.com"
My knife dealer who I buy knifes from says that this is the guy who he pays his posting fees to. I respectfully submit this correction, and again my condolences and deepest sympathies go out to the family and may Gator rest in peace.
Sincerely, Barbara

I am ashamed to say that I never got to know a fellow knife maker from my own state. I enjoyed his work but never had the opportunity to meet him. My condolences to his family and may Gator rest in peace.

I just received my latest money back in the mail today from Gators brother with a short note stating that he died suddenly and the family wasn't authorized to continue his business.

Here's a pic of some more of my Gator customs. I was working on a complete set, plus any unusual items he would be willing to make for me.

Sad news, I never got a chance to own one of his customized stilettos, now getting one would probably be impossible. Anyone want to let one go?

A great craftsman has left us-the scales on those knives are exquisite.

My deepest sympathy to the ones left behind.
