Jeffs Microtech

Post by Jeff »

I've always wanted a Microtech otf as far as I can remember and they have always been a bit out of my reach financially. I've never even fired one.
Until today when mine showed up in the mail. :D
I think this one is great. Very solid quiet feel when the blade shoots out/ retracts. I like the red anodized aluminum handle, and the black finished double edge blade is super sharp on both sides.
Barb was nice enough to give me a free Lightning clone with it and a switchcomb. My lucky day. THANKS Barb, It took 1 day to get to me and the gifts I will keep for good. :D

Hi Jeff,

Congratulations! I have one just like yours (same color and blade) and I love it. I fire it off several times every week, in fact, I fire just about all of my knives off at least once a week, that's how bad my addiction is. :D

Nice knife. I'm rather partial to red knives myself. Here are my Scarab, Godson and Brend 3.

I never liked brightly colored scales, until, one day, I realized that they're easier to find if you drop them in a dark place.

Now, in my stories, my main character carries an !!'' Frank B swinguard with white pearlex scales, and a stainess Taurus 9mm with matching white pearl grips-just in case.

His has filework-so does mine, but I don't have a pearl-handled pistol any more.

Many, many thanks, Jeff, you are too kind!! (I use my clone for opening packages. Mine is identical to the one I gave you. They work great for slicing beef jerky, too!) I'm happy, SO happy that your experience of receiving your first Mikov was so good. Barb
I will push your buttons--please pass me your switchblades first.
