Pretty good jolt here but no damage. The epicenter was about 40 or 50 miles inland from me. Jerr's up north of here a ways.Vagrant wrote:Hopefully you [and all our SoCal members] were unaffected by todays quake

Re: Passaround II?
I got my hands on this knife today.
First impression - it's huge. I think it would be pretty impractical as an actual weapon (except maybe as a club), but as a collectible, it's pretty impressive. Despite its size, it still opens very fast. The only other experience I've had with 'traditional' Italian stiletto-type switches is the Teddy/Pushbutton tribute knife, but from what I've read, quality on them can be sort of hit-or-miss. This one seems to be put together very solidly - locks up tight when opened, no blade play, very little deviation to one side or the other when closed, no peek of the blade. I really didn't know what to expect when this knife replaced the original passaround knife, but now that I've handled it, I think it would make a great addition to my meager collection.
If Mr. Whiskers will PM me his address, I'll have it out to him by this coming Friday at the latest.
Can someone remind me how we're shipping this? USPS Priority with $201 insurance and Delivery Confirmation?
