yes indeed, it either makes it very rare, or a fraud  but because we know it's real, therin lies the mystery :?

does this mean we may see 10 IHT knives for sale on SKM? :(

Mr. Bigg,

I'm afraid it's me that's responsible for the system of serial numbering... the idea was to make the number relevant to the member's FIRST post while allowing for both multiple purchases AND a possible future run. The numbers not requested will not exist . I'm sure a much better system is possible but I was under pressure to get the design (and system of numbering) accepted quickly before the whole project died.

Best wishes

Actually, I believe that Teddys numbering system is best for the reasons he cited.

I for one will never part with mine. Like the saying goes, the only way will be from my cold dead fingers and then some.

I think Teddy did a great job of making this happen. If it wasn't for him focusing all of it, we would still be arguing about what it should be lol,,No Offense Guys, it's Human nature.

My hat is off to Teddy, and SKM, and Mine will never be for sale period for any reason by me. So if ya all want it, you will have to wait till I croak,, IF I can't figure out a way to take it with me.lol

Ya know, I think the thread will hit 2000, then the fun starts all over again,,lmao. Waya

BTW we can still have a forum knife too

My hat is off to Teddy, and SKM

Mr. Waya is indeed correct - Mr. Teddy was on this project like a little pit bull. I think all of us who ordered one (or more) of these unique knives owe him a debt of gratitude. And Mr. Arthas too!

THANKS FELLAS!

Also, thanks to whoever dreamed up the idea - I believe it was Mr. Hollowdweller.

Mr. Bigg,

If you had stopped bouncing around like a pogo stick on speed for a moment you would have noticed there are MORE than ten serial numbers missing from the I.H.T knife run. For a start your #39 isn't the highest and secondly many members ordered more than one.

To the guys with the kind words for our efforts...MANY thanks. 8)

Best wishes
