Knife display cases

Post by joeallan »

My collection of switch blades have out grown the display that I have. The problem is I don't seem to be able to find a nice dispaly that will show off 25 knifes that doesn't cost too much.

Any thoughts?

If it's not fun, why do it?

If you are looking for a place to just store your wares in one place, go to Lowes. I just picked up an old timers type wooden tool chest for $60. I put my collection of over 100 knives (closed) into it and still have room for about 50-60 more.. What a deal~! 8) I used to keep them in Glass top display cases, but the wife didn't much like 'em with the Grandkids snooping around.. I bought them each a Switchcomb, but the coolness wears off after a while.. They wanna play with the real ones!

bladerunner,

I know of the tool chest that you write, and have been trying to get one for a year and a half. I saw it in Lowes and didn't buy it, then I returned and they were out. I was told that it is not a regularly stocked item, that they receive them randomly, and that they usually sell out fast. I believe them.
