Hello everyone.
I've been hovering around in the shadows as a guest for some time now but now think its time to step foreward. I've been trying to read every post hoping to get educated, and at the same time i've been running around trying to get my hands on supplies and materials before I take a crack at assembly. In my case it will certainly begin as mangling, eh.
In my search for tools I've located a couple of places that might be of interest to other Canucks or anyone else for that matter. They're all worth a look.
1. http://www.atlas-machinery.com - a good place for industrial strength drill bits in metric and imperial sizes, and alum ox sheet abrasives up to 1200x. Very helpful staff as well. The website doesn't do the place justice. They have tons of neat toys..i mean tools.
2. http://www.lacytools.ca - a jewellers supply house that provides a great selection of tools, abrasives, polishes and dremmel type bits and abrasives.
I was able to visit both places and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
last but not least is http://www.leevalley.com - a woodworkers supply house but the also carry an extensive range of sharpening tools and materials. Its a bit of a boutique and some of their prices reflect that. The have shops across the country and provide speedy shipping.
Hope someone finds this stuff helpful.
Now back to the shadows for a short time while I try to learn the new jargon and baffle speak. It's a tough language to grasp eh.
Thanks to mr bigg for heading me in the right direction. I'll walk in that direction tho, its a killer riding one of those crazy bikes.
