Episode 5 (season 1) a switchblade is used by a drug dealer to open a package of "carpet". (May not be a switch, but sure sounds like one) (near the end)

It's a spring-assisted Kershaw Leek...

Episode 6 (season 1) a gang member hands over a balisong knife when going into a meeting. (about a quarter in)

Anybody recognize this bali? I'd say it's just a CCC, which it might be, but they're usually of slab construction and this one has one piece handles...

Watching one right now called The Glory Stompers. 1968 biker gang movie starring a young Dennis Hopper. The Dark haired biker chick has what looks like an 11 incher that she flashes in about every scene she's in so far.

Ok, so I see the OTF Knuckle knife from robocop, but there is no mention of the OTF spike. He has one, it is seen used to threaten a fellow police officer, and to apparently interface with the computer systems.

It's a group effort. Believe it or not we've found quite a few dated even before the 40's. Our earliest switchblade spotting was in a movie that came out in 1924.

What ever it is, It appears to be QUITE fast.

Though that may be because the camera is (most-likely) operating at a lower Frame Rate than more modern cameras.
