I caught this one earlier tonight while half watching this movie on F/X. There's a very Persian looking auto used by the killer in Prom Night...

I don't think this has been mentioned. FX channel Sons of Anarchy intro has a Stag stiletto
Re: Movie Switchblades
Actually it has Tryker got it a while back. It starts out as a butterfly knife and then magically transforms into a stiletto for some reason...wild zebra wrote:I don't think this has been mentioned. FX channel Sons of Anarchy intro has a Stag stiletto

Re: Movie Switchblades
I noticed a fish picklock in the movie "The Bravados" last week. I thought it was pretty rare to see a fish on the screen. You do see a lot of stilettos in th old westerns but, that's the first fish. The hangman stabs the sherrif with the fish. It's a pretty good western that stars Gregory Peck and a young, hot Joan Collins. I'm not proficient enough to grab screen shots but, if anyone can, the movie is worth a look.
Re: Movie Switchblades
I'll try and get some stills from that one Chopper. On an unrelated note, does anybody know if there was a switchblade in the movie The Wild One from the fifties? I've read several times that it was influential towards the creation of the USA Switchblade Act of 1958, but I can't for the life of me find a scene with a switchblade in it. Am I missing it?
Also, I finally got around to putting together another youtube vid. I only did the first half of the eighties so the vid wouldn't be too long. I'll do the second half in another vid. Here's "Switchblades in the Movies (1980-1984)",,,

Re: Movie Switchblades
Nice vid! ANyone else notice that the knife in Cloak and Dagger changes from a Rizzuto to a fixed bolster? It's been mentioned before, but the Rizzuto in Christine changes from a standard guard to a batwing as well!
