Yeah I couldn't have said it better myself.
As a noob still looking for Johnny Cades Springer after 25 I still wonder; Why hasn't anyone replicated the Weidmannsheil Springer correctly yet? When I was 11 and watched the outsiders I knew even then that Johnys blade was Solid and built well. I would buy a gang of em!

My older brother brought one home from the Army...he was stationed in Germany and bought it at a pawnshop...he came home for a visit before he went to vietnam...he left some mementos from Germany behind one was a Springer Konig shell puller....we sat on my bed and he showed it to me...it was the coolest thing I ever seen....well years went by and I had forgotten about it...until that movie came out "The Outsiders" when I got a good look at Johnnys knife I said dang that one is just like the knife Jimmy brought home from the army. :)

Do I need to give you the shell puller parts for the conversion or do you have them? I saw Chad just got a nice Hubertus. He says it's gonna be a shell puller pretty soon. It looks very much like a Springer.

I haven't received it from Ken yet, I just mailed the money order to him yesterday. It's the one I linked you in a PM the other day.

I will definitely keep an eye out for you. And since I have so many projects lined up, you don't have to worry about me buying any anytime soon. I'm scared to anyway, the wife might divorce me. :D I hope she never makes me choose between her and my knives Image
