To confuse things even more: there's also the Titan 1 and the Thunder 1... I am thinking of buying a Thunder 2. But it seems to me that it is internally the same as the well known, popular, Lightning. Everybody who has a Lightning (like I do) must see the similarities. However, on Stu's site it says that the Titan 2 is 5/8'' thick (= 0.635 inch thick = 1.6 cm). My Lightning is 0.5'' (= 1.3 cm) thick. Can you guys, who own a Ranger/Thunder2/Titan2, confirm this? .635 Inch seems a little thick... I carry my Lightning in my pocket (for every day use) and a much thicker knife wouldn't be as handy as the Lightning...
Until someone measures, I'll take a wild guess
IF, Stu's measurement includes the clip, that would be very close to the difference

1. What a beauty! Where did you get that picture? Where can one buy that one? What does it cost?
2. I agree. The name must have been reused.

The one I got from Stu includes the glass breaker too. Maybe some do and some don't?

If no-one has, I'm sure that, sooner ot later, someone will
I suspect that most are less than ideal but will work, at least they will be better than nothing
A ceramic one would work better but, would be "self sacrificing" or break if you dropped it

Thats a 'Dalton Ranger'. Sadly not available anymore and even more sadly, the ones that come available usually command a premium price. I picked that one up a while back.

Ok.. I am still unsure on the Lightning/Ranger/Titan whatever.

Can I get a show of hands, how many people reccommend one vs how many had issues?

Much appreciated.. (Moderators - this may make a good poll sticky!)

Is your Titan II 0.5'' or 0.63'' thick (excluding the pocket clip)?

P.S. Blackjack: thank you for the info.

A tad over 9/16 of an inch, so 0.63" sounds right.

Thank you for your reply. In your opinion, is that a bit too thick to carry it with you in your pocket?

No, not at all. It's an easy (and comfortable) fit IMO.
