The "Super Automatic" logo is faded, but here is one...

That's a pinned version, nice. That looks alot nicer than my "Super Automatic"... Mine just had the logo painted on, and I used super-fine steel wool & buffed it off...

Thanks for the info, not too bad condition, I'd really like to find one in mint condition to round out the OTF collection I have. I've got one in this style from the late '60's and several in the new style (black with Nato Military on the scales) but a "Super Automatic" would fill in the gap between these two styles perfectly. Thanks again :)

Finally got my pre-Super Auto... not mint...some toolbox tried to sharpen it... but pretty good shape... fires smooth & locks up as solid as these types get... it is going to be pretty much a cigar box queen... fired it about 20 times... no misfires...

Nice score sicboy, that's exactly like mine 8) For an OTF they're pretty solid feeling with a good weight and are bigger than the current "Natos". Mines kept safely stowed away as well, want to keep 'er fresh :D

Thank you, thank you :) - lets just say I "insisted" on insurance... The seller was actually honest about the whole thing & admitted he forgot to insure it, but I was covered either way he said. I still have vague fantasy's of opening the mailbox and finding my long lost beauties from last fall... :P

I shouldn't even have bothered, my camera is TERRIBLE. Anyways, the ones I just got are the two on the right with the boxes. The other three are a French Bargeon and two of the sixties smooth scaled pinned ones like your new one...

8) That gravity knife on the left is much older than the super autos, right? It has the longer blade just like the smooth scaled pre-super autos from the 60s.
