In Italy the most important ones to watch for are; the man wearing a hat whilst driving, anyone smoking a pipe (especially a woman), and anyone with the christian fish symbol on the back of the car.

Can't help on price range but in addition to originality you should also checkout who the manufacturer is, I think Wilkinson is the premier one (theirs are still forged and also noticably heavier), that the sheath still has its tabs for sewing onto clothes and how much wear, some patina is good but ...

I have one and I think it makes a fun letter opener in an office. As a weapon I'm not sure if it's better than nothing, certainly the original CIA letter opener was a little better. For getting passed security as already stated the consequences might be a bit OTT. Also look at the price and compare ...

Spyware

For computer illiterates like me this article on spyware gives a good introduction:

Reminds me of a lady rangemaster who ran the range lunchtimes at the SERC in London a long time ago. I can't remember her name but I'm sure it started with an M, (Margie perhaps), always used to help us pick up cases, usually it was only me and an ex paratrooper who shot at lunchtime - a lovely lady...

And pissed the rifle guys off no end one time when they were shooting 12 inch square metal plates at 100.. and myself and my friend were knocking them down with our 45's... from a standing position... and THEY were lyi...

Post scriptum I of Mann, Channel Islands often have their own legislation, not strictly in UK. Isle of Mann has interesting speed limits. I believe they recieved copies of "Signal" [Nazis clone of "Life Magazine"], until late 1944 on a couple of the islands. That's rather seperate. I have an encycl...

As far as I am aware handguns are only still legal to own in the UK in N. Ireland. (some 20K FACs with registered handguns). I was living in the UK at the time of the ban and managed to export most of mine, I lost two of my .22s because of the last minute about face and consequent full ban. I am fas...

We won't ask about the legalities of a 357 in the UK. (are you sure you should be advertising the fact?)
