A grateful thanks from me also! If it weren't for Bill helping me out with some tips that I could really use, I would probably have chucked this hobby, and started collecting stamps.
Kudos, Bill!!

My wife gets the guns, and my son gets the knives, since he appreciates them just as much as I do. This addiction is a family affair at my house.
( What good is a hobby if you can't share it with your loved ones? ) :D

Xarathos,
That's great! Those switchblade lighters are fun to play with and will fire up anything you just happen to want to smoke! Besides, as everyone here knows, Stu has some of the best stuff.

Blade problem

Bill,
I took it down and checked the hole in the liner but did not see any problems. Also checked the liners and they look pretty straight.

Blade problem

Bill, Peening the pivot pin worked for one of the Beltrames, but not the other two. The scales are screwed on, but once I get them torn down, then what? Any advice, as always, will be appreciated. Thanks, Frank

Bill, Thanks for the info, it did help one of my problem children, but the other two are going to have to have surgery, I think. Any tips in general? By the way, I also have a Leverletto, and while it doesn't peek yet, one good sharpening will probably start it. I seem to remember someone on this si...

Blade problem

Bill, I have 3 F. Beltrame stilettos that have the same problem, the blade peeks out a bit when closed. I'm sure you have addressed this before, but I can't find it. Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Frank

Tiny's

I hope Tiny is back, the first REAL stilletto I ever bought was from him. Come to think of it, so was the first leverlock, so WELCOME BACK TINY!

Hi

Hello my name is Frank, and I collect switchblades. Big, little, OTF, leverlock, it just doesn't matter. I checked out this site to hopefully pick up some tips on doing repairs and kit work. So far, I have found some VERY useful info. Looking forward to a long and informative friendship.
