Re: Question about ordering from Knifeshop.com

I've ordered from them and they've always delivered, but once the knife didn't function when I got it. I was going to get it replaced but then that particular model was sold out. It seems they, like others, don't check the knives before they post them. Why is it so hard to check that the knives func...

Re: Finding Vintage Picklock Italian Switchblades

I have a question about these vintage knives:

Do they have a different feel than modern stilettos, from Frank B for example?

Do they sound different?

Or is the difference only in appearance?

:D

Really cool looking knife.

Re: My new Frank B Hump's

Is this a new type of design, or have they been around before?

How does it feel holding the knife in your hand, it's not awkward in any way with the hump?

Re: Red Russet

I think it would be interesting if someone made a switchblade with german WW2 motif.

Take ideas from knives like these, and make it into a switchblade :D

Re: FRANK B HUMPBACK

Some of the new technology may seem unnecessary

But a lot of it is truly great as well

Computers and the internet has made it possible to have forums like this, where people from different parts of the globe can meet and share specialized hobbies

Like switchblade collecting for example :D

Re: New Missouri Switchblade Law

America is run by other powerful forces, the president is just a front man

It doesn't matter which puppet you vote for, the politics will be essentially the same

This goes for much of the rest of the western world as well by the way

But this isn't a politics forum so I'll say no more :|

Re: At last....The Hellraiser Knife!!

I also use an external image host, I think it looks better than uploading them directly on this site. But you probably have to resize them a bit anyway so they're not too big and don't match the site. It looks awkward if you have to scroll sideways to see the whole pic. Not all people have the new b...

Re: Frank B front opener

Yes of course.

I just mean these modern and more expensive OTF knives should be able to handle more than the one I had in the 80s, that I described in my first post.

Or are they also very fragile and can only be used for cutting?
