I`d like to know as well , i do remember these as a child , i think at my uncles ,,,he was from guam they were his letter openers on his desk . i` have totally forgotten about them till i started seeing them pop up , How can you forget a blade like that ?

i`v e been told that the backspring on these is prone to breaking so be carefull not to pull up to hard when closing it , thats why you dont see to many of these anymore ... they all broke , mine is stamped YAX over stainless over japan . its a cool little example of what came outa Japan . and it si...

Collecting Italians is an addiction thats hard to feed .
