Re: Lever Lock repair project
Wooo old thread. Not sure how Jayess' post fits in, but I printed up all 24 pages and am about half way in. Got the highlighter out to condense all the useful info. Not sure how I missed this in the search when I was researching fixing my leverlocks. Glad it got dredged up though. Bill has giving lo...

Re: Everyday carry knife
I've been carrying a Sodbuster I rescaled with Koa for awhile man they are sharp. I also like to switch between two smaller vintage Bonsa leverlocks and an Old Timer multiblade that was broken that I tuned into a singleblade.

Re: WTB hobo knife
I kinda want one with a spoon and I forgot the one at woodcraft doesn't have one. Usually camping I bring the cast iron pot for some stew or chili. So I'd like to have a metal spoon. I know, I know, I could just bring some silverware, but what fun is that? Turbo I hear you last time I went camping I...

Re: WTB hobo knife
Redeye thanks I'm watching that one. I was trying to find one of those not in auction. So I could buy it outright. I know Frost ain't no Case but it's gonna be a user anyways. Seems with the Hobo knives there's nice one's and cheap ones. Doesn't seem to be a decent middle ground like around 30-40 bu...

Re: WTB hobo knife
Redeye Thanks,
I should have left more details. I'm REALLY looking for the pull apart/breakdown style hobo knife. With a spoon also, so the knife, fork, spoon style. Thank you though. Woodcraft sells a cheapo I might just grab one of those and resacle it.

Saw a pretty bad movie called The Informers. Mickey Rourke pulls out a stiletto, bout midway through the movie.

Re: NATO MILITARY- SUPER AUTOMATIC
I agree and disagree. Yes by all standards they are "cheapy" "crappy" knives. But, most people I would assume buy them for sentimental purposes and not as a fad or trend. I know that's why I wanted one. Because it was one of my most fond switchblade memories. I had a few switches but when these came...

Re: NATO MILITARY- SUPER AUTOMATIC
I was chasing down a blue super auto because that's what I had way back when. I recently stumbled across a black one in darn mint condition if you ask me for 30 bucks. I also picked up a decent top automatic otf also for 30. I would like to find a box for the super auto since it is in so nice of con...

Re: R.W. Monk lever lock revisited
Thanks Bill, and thanks for all of your off forum advice!! I really like the cover it just keeps the knife living for ole R.W. Monk. I'm sure he never thought this knife would have a new life. I have it at work today, cut open a few boxes. The blade barely sits below the liners, as well as the Shell...

R.W. Monk lever lock revisited
Well this knife was my first attempt at switch repair. I have posted pictures before. It was in poor shape. Busted leverspring, no lever or kickspring, blade shot, yadayadayada. Thanks to a kind forum member Jeff75 and many tips from Bill Deshivs. I fixed her up a long ways back, but not for long. T...
