Despite being generally very solid the thickness :lol: of the backspring [at the lock tab] on the picklock is half that of a bolster release. A serious and always unmentioned weakness :idea: A little work/redesign would make the bolster release superior in ALL aspects :wink: or a buttonopen/buttonc...

Best is very subjective. As a personal preference I prefer coil fired. My choice in the choices offered above would be a damascus bladed leverletto (lever)
