Re: Classic Iconic Stiletto?

Ok, so I know beltrame makes some picklocks. But from what I've read on his site there a limited run and they appear to be 11'' not 9 like I'd prefer (I like the 9''s better, I think they fit my hands better)

So, is there any specific maker you guys would suggest for a good 9'' picklock.

Re: Classic Iconic Stiletto?

Mainly because Google is great for helping me see the OPINIONS of every body who ever even uttered the word "stiletto". But, I'm looking for good advice from collectors. Also, this isn't kind the kind of question that Google can answer very well. I'm trying to establish, what you guys think is the b...

Classic Iconic Stiletto?

I'm looking to get a stiletto, in the near future. Probably a Beltrame, but I'm open to suggestions. What I'm looking for is the classic simple stiletto switchblade. Thing is I'm not quite sure what that is. So, my question is what was the most common kind of stiletto available in around the 1950's ...

Re: Can you Help a new member decide on a knife

I think I'm gonna get a $25 Milano (I hear there actually pretty good quality for being made in Taiwan), and the Airbourne-Thrasher OTF with the upgrade piece. And I'm also getting a black "guardfather" OTF spike, mainly for the coolness and because it's pretty unique. Once I've got a bit more money...

Re: Can you Help a new member decide on a knife

But then again, the Beltrame (pronounced: "Bell-Traw-May") is a classic switchblade. Thank you on the pronunciation. I assumed it was closer to "Belt-Ram". Now I guess I know the right way to say it. I'm already getting a few cheap stilettos a 9'' and a 10'' from roadside imports. But again, they'r...

Can you Help a new member decide on a knife

I've been shopping around and I've decided to by a few knifes. I've got everything worked out, accept one knife. I'm not sure if I want a Microtech OTF clone, or a Beltram knife. The Beltram will cost me $46 + $? Shipping (from his site) The Microtech Clone will cost me $50 + $6 shipping ( http://ww...
