*hit my buffer again* medicine? Two of the most widely used pharmaceuticals in a bad situation are antibiotics and morphia. Both of these are controlled substances and already kept under lock and key in central locations. Easy to guard. You bet your bippy a hostile force will fight a battle of attri...

*sorry, hit my entry buffer size* soil? Do you know all the things that go into sustaining agriculture, let alone subsistence farming? Fuel for tillage at the least, seed, chemicals, harvest equipment, processing, storage... Add in the possibility of an enemy actively working to destroy this country...

Re: CATCHING WILD HOGS
. My theory: A man is weak. An army is strong. As true as that is, there are a few facts to consider. These facts constitute a good part of the reason I don't have an organization. One, you can't trust people. Some of the greatest men in history have been done in by traitors. The use of traitors is...

I quote a no-longer friend: R.O.P.M.A. religeon of peace my ass. That being said, I'm sure I'll offend someone when I say every several hundred years Islam causes the rest of the world a pain in the butt: the Moors in spain, or how 'bout the crusades? Or during the initial spread of Islam? Previousl...

I guess I should have said in the course of a week I shoot a minimum of three things in the head with my Pre-Woodsman. It's been a slow day. I haven't shot anything in the head yet. Yesterday I shot four things in the head... I've shot about 20 things in the head this week. All rockchucks and starli...

oh, man! no more half literate COACH/teachers that talk like Sylvester Stallone only less articulate? Honestly, this is an effect the law will have that I'm really happy about. I got really sick of hundred point extra credit questions like 'who were the 1977 starting lineup of the Pittsburgh Steeler...

Damn them's some big beers. And now for the stupid question... what's this Mikov that has that dude all pissy? (seriously man, time for some Trazidoan) And finally I think I have a solution for this guy. Check the appropriate box: [] I want to buy a Mikov [] I do not want to buy a Mikov Remove ten I...

Re: New switchblade design... who do I give it to?
I've got very limited amount of facilities for making things right now. My last model was carboard, and was luckily something tubular. (a special valve I designed to isolate a supercharger on an electric clutch... works off boost pressure) I don't think I could make anything that complex with what I...

I swear... this POSnER is a piece of work. I wonder if he's married... maybe then someone could use his wife as a standin for America, and a rapist as a standin for illegal immigration... and then explain to him how it would be wrong for him to try to stop it. on the other hand, I know an illegal, a...

Re: New switchblade design... who do I give it to?
I haven't heard from TR4252 in a while. Wonder if he's busy with his modeling program. I think I came up with a way to make it modular, and lower the inertia of the blade with one change. Plus it makes mail order totally legal. If it ain't got a blade, it ain't a knife. Order a blade, install in les...

Re: New switchblade design... who do I give it to?
The wing is the release button. I can't lose it. It is pressed to release, and is in the release position. If you rotate it, it becomes flat with the profile of the knife and is in the safe position. Hey Vagrant: Not even close. I feel better about my ability to not describe the workings. Sic: I'd l...

*sigh* Yeah, I agree... but the same laws that guarantee me a gun (or in my case many guns) to tell muslim extremists 'no' also guarantees them the right to put on a sheet and make like Casper the ghost.

Without further ado.... The Aviator
Here's a pic of what it may look like. This is both artist's and designer's conception. I also have an idea for a more modern look for those who don't dig Art Deco. I don't think I've given any big clues to the method of operation.
Oh and the color? all brass and steel.

Re: New switchblade design... who do I give it to?
Is clever or is $2000?
If he's checked his PM I sent him more detailed drawing of the release mechanism. This design is all about being overbuilt yet elegant.
