Stu has had 9-inch flatground purple pearlex swinguards for ages. Still has 10 of them.

Re: Bent blade from SKM

It can be hit or miss with Italian stilettos. Many of them have some little issues. I had a similar experience to yours a number of years ago. I ordered a 9-inch stiletto from SKM with a dagger blade, brass bolsters, and briarwood scales, and it arrived crooked and loose. I emailed AB and they refer...

Speaking of penguin suits, here's yours truly at my son's wedding in November. Everyone looks good in a tuxedo. No Norinco, though. Sorry, Markco.

Re: (GermanOTF) Böker Plus series

Got an email with a couple of links from Knifeshop the other day, but the links stopped working after a few hours. Maybe Knifeshop jumped the gun. They linked to the Boker Plus Survivor OTF and also to a new/old Boker leverlock called the 714 that's apparently a continuation of the 712-715 line. Loo...

Re: Everyday carry knife

I have a bunch of so-called California-legal autos (2-inch blade) that I usually rotate for EDC, but this one seems to be the one I carry lately. It's a Darrel Ralph kit knife, 154 CM steel blade. The scales are hand-jigged bone by Smallfoot, and they've faded to a golden color since these pictures ...

Re: New Boker Mini Kalashnikov Automatic Knife

Thanks for the review, Whipper. I have one on the way. I always thought a Mini-Kalashnikov would be a good idea. Looks like a good carry knife.
