Thanks Vagrant. It's the Big Six-Oh today.

Happy birthday also to Jeff (and Harrison Ford).

Red Pearlex Slant Bolster

This is my third slant bolster and it's the nicest yet, red pearlex not withstanding. Real strong snap, straight and tight, no play at all. Blade's full and unsharpened, seats deep. Tang stamp looks like Horster over Rostfrei. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o249/shnookylangston/Knives/RedPearlex...

Virginia Lockback

I've always wanted one of these. Looks like it uses the same torsion spring as on the Collini slide button knives. Is this the same knife as the Ackermannchen (sp) lockback? http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o249/shnookylangston/Knives/VirginiaLockbackClosed_zpsa9e12828.jpg http://i122.photobucket....

Re: Older Pics

Very, very nice knives David. I like that small stag swinger pictured with the Medici. I have one similar with the short blade and white horn scales. Yours is the only other in that size that I've seen 'round these parts.

Re: Movie Switchblades

New documentary about The Rolling Stones on HBO called "Crossfire Hurricane." In the beginning of the film, Mick Jagger snorts *something* backstage before a show and uses a Rizzuto to do it.
