Re: A joke ???????

Thanks ! I will look for them at Cabela's as I am ordering some stuf from them today, if not I will give the company you listed a try. I am mostly a caught and release type of guy, but the trout they stock are farm raised and I keep my limit when I caught them. I have never kept any Crappie, but I h...

Re: Super Automatics

After posting in and reading this thread, I happed to pass by KO AMERICAN Trading Tuesday in Midtown Manhattan. I saw the same old Korean lady in their from 15+ years ago. The Ko stands for Korean and this was the main importer of the K-108 which was the pinned NATO or Superautomatic made by Bell. S...

Re: A joke ???????

Thanks for the tip. I will try that method. I also do some spot fishing in some of the smaller lakes by me and there are two lake systems near me where one lake drains off into another. I use your method with live bait at the run off area which is very similar to a stream. I 'll give that bait anoth...

Re: A joke ???????

Thanks for the info. I bought some of those new food source grubs a week ago and used them once with no luck. I will try them again. The small spinners work well to a point. I am use to catching 30 to 50 panfish in a couple of hours with live bait, and I just don't see that type of action with the l...

I have run accross a few of those cheap OTFs marked Bell also. They were not the ones I was reffering too and I think they may have been made elsewhere and marked Bell....The pinned ones are the real Bell models.

Re: A joke ???????

Great looking stream. Is that behind your house? I live on Long Island, NY. I try and go fresh water fishing 30 or more times a year. There are a fair amount of lakes and ponds here and they stock three near by with about 2,000 trout each lake. Lot of panfish, bass and pickeral also....what lure do ...

Re: schrade

I know Taylor and SMKW have a interwinned relationship, but not sure of all the facts. There both in Tenn, and Frost is involved also. When Cammillus went out of business last year, these were the guys running to grab the left overs and name rights. I got a few dozen of the Cammillus Heats ( the big...

Re: schrade

Smokey Mountain Knife Works bought the Schrade name out and is using it now on many new low end import knives. These look to be the same quailty as the Twain Bokers ( which is reasonably good as a user), but they are not top dollar collectables for sure, or USA type high quailty, high tech knives....

Whippersnapper, I had joined Bladeforums a few years back, and posted mostly in the Knife Law and Automatic Knife section. This site I held off on a bit as being a former NY LEO I will tell you are "list" kept on membership to certain things. After reading quotes on this site on a daily basis, it se...
