Harbor Freight Tool Chest

I decided I needed a second chest from Harbor Freight to store my knives. I looked at the following ad and found that they were on sale for $79.99 plus there is an additional 20% off coupon so I ended up paying $63.99 plus tax. While I would love to have something like a Gerstner & Sons chest I just...

Re: your first switch

In 1965 when I was 16, my father and I flew over to Germany to meet up with my mother and sisters who were already there. I bought my first knife there, a Bonsa leverlock which was later stolen. I picked up the same model knife in the photo on an auction. http://i831.photobucket.com/albums/zz233/jav...

Re: Forum Knife

I'd like it like the 2004 knife with "Talkblade 2011" on the blade and the numbering on the tang.

Blade Show Loot

I didn't have a huge budget for the show but I found some things to keep me happy. Picked up a variety of scale materials including mammoth tooth, dyed bone, several burls and an Australian Banksia pod with an acrylic filler where the seeds had been. I decided to pick up 2 discontinued Due Buoi kniv...

Re: New Campolin stiletto.

I just bought one with MOP scales from Angelo at the Blade Show. The bolsters are solid, the whole knife is substantial and snaps hard. Don't let that first impression deceive you, I think Angelo has made a really nice knife.

Re: New full size SA/OTF from ProTech

I got to play with the photo here at Blade Show. Big and solid with excellent snap. Photo doesn't have a safety but the production model is supposed to have one.

Re: Atlanta Blade Show- Who's going?

Front & center in the following picture is the JAVACUPPER ball cap I'll be wearing at Blade Show so if you see it I hope you'll introduce yourself. The other caps have some special meaning around here. The NRA cap doesn't need an explanation and I am a member of Knife Rights and AKTI as well. The WO...

That storm system that hit Joplin came through St. Louis and had us scramble to the basement a couple of times because of reported circulation but really didn't cause any problems. here.

Re: Atlanta Blade Show- Who's going?

I just informed my wife that I would be attending the Blade Show. She just flew up to Baltimore to spend a few days with her best friend, her college roommate, so she couldn't say much about me leaving her alone for a few days! Actually she's being a good sport about it (as long as I don't me...

I'd like mine to have the Zuava blade, it didn't specify in the list.
