Tap it?, this is interesting, proud springs bother me, but I thought bending them was a bad idea?. Hubertus have replaceable leaf springs (sometimes called a drop in spring). They should be seated into the rear of the liner all the way or they may seem long. It should be a tight fit. I wasn't talki...

If the spring is sticking out it could be because it isn't seated deep enough. Carefully tap it in deeper. If it is seated in all the way it shouldn't fall out.

I had two of the kits that I did. One a .36 and the other was a .44 or .45......damn I don't remember :oops: . Put together and finished in my high school wood/metal shop classes. Now days they would expell you for having one anywhere near a school.
