Re: A Halloween Tale
Gramps, nothing to forgive and I wouldn't take offence. Not everyone likes the same kind of story. I just hoped people enjoyed it and if not could tell me why. I'm working very hard to try and improve my writing and get published. That kind of day? I have days when I head up high in the mountains to...

Re: A Halloween Tale
Thanks for the comments. It's an excerpt from a book I've written where two of the main characters like telling ghost stories. I'm trying to get it published (currently I'm rewriting it) gramps , sorry you got bored, but it can't have been that bad if you had to see how it finished  How would y...

A Halloween Tale
In the naval battle of Port Ocai the ship called the Saracen was sunk. One of the sailors, I’ll call him Pecard, even if I’m not sure of his name, saved himself by hanging on to a piece of wreckage. As the battle went on like a game of chess for many days, both fleets circling and trying to gain an ...

Married with son. Don't think the Godfather, asking a favour on the wedding day, works in the real world.

Re: Responsabilities- Manufacturer / distributor / dealer
Anyone who expects Microtech $200+ CNC consistancy at well under $100 in a hand assembled knife is intellectually challenged  [understatement] :!: Usually, when better [more expensive] items are presented, they sell like Edsels  [And, even the 1st Speed Hunters had more "peeking blade" ...

Re: Responsabilities- Manufacturer / distributor / dealer
My experience with Italian cars has been the same. Doesn't matter if its a Ferrari or a Fiat the quality sucks. I worked on Italian cars for several years. Italian Products are stylish, expensive and shoddily made. Why should their knives be any different. I wonder what arthas opinion on this is? d...

Re: Responsabilities- Manufacturer / distributor / dealer
As long as people keep buying crap there is no motivation for the manufacturer to improve quality. That is the reality. How much responsability should the distributor and/or dealer bear? That is much harder. How big is the distributor and/or dealer? unless it's a big operation and a significant part...

Boy scout no knife
When I was in primary school in London in the early sixties boy scouts often had meetings after school, they would often wear their uniforms to school. This would include a fixed blade knife that they wore on their belt (we are talking ten year olds). It was never a big deal. Now this: http://www.da...
