No, it has never been fully authenticated as far as I know. Nor has it been debunked. If they were produced during the war, there is no reason to think they were not issued- as the known M-2s were the same as civilian production knives. Bill , have these metal handled Presto knives ever really been authenticated as an M2 Military issued knife ? last I recall the speculation points to post war or civilian market on these …. the black plastic type have been bonafide but not sure about this model? That's actually a WW2 M-2 paratrooper...
