Re: New Find, Coricama Shell puller

Just saw this. Great knife, Terry. That stag is outstanding on both sides. Nice find.

Re: Small leverlocks

Here's a mini Italian made from a kit with hand-jigged bone scales and filework, and a "small" Italian with hand-jigged wood scales and fileworked brass liners made from a full-size Leverletto kit. Both by Straydog.

Re: Bird Beaks or Bird Heads

Nice little lockbacks, Pachinko. Here are mine. They're all a little different. The IMOP and the swirly one are both flatground. The black one has a double swedge. The swirly one without a bottom bolster is a little bigger than the other two. Swirly Lockback Open.jpg SwirlyLockbackFrontClosed.jpg Bl...

Re: Probably A Counterfeit

It's 8-3/4 inches (22.5 cm). I thought there had been mention that there were Japanese counterfeits of these around, but I might've imagined that.

Probably A Counterfeit

I always figured this was a counterfeit but I'm not sure. Wasp body, derby bolsters, steel liners, button O/C, swedge blade. Stamped INOX. Scales look like horn. The pins are really small. It's straight and pretty tight, not a bad knife, whoever made it.

Re: New Boker XXL Kalasnikov

Nice knives, Terry. I didn't know about the big ones. I like that clip point blade. I have an AK47 with a sliding safety and a mini Kalashnikov I got a long time ago, both gray on gray, plain blade. Used to carry the mini once in a while.

Re: Stolen Knife

Sounds like a SWAT (Specialized Weapons By Advanced Technologies). Cool little knives, made in Arizona. I don't think they've been made for a number of years now. Looks like Bob has a couple.

I'm pretty sure that's a blue Pantera in the far background of the picture with Cobra 7 in the foreground, the 4th picture down.

Shelbys

I stumbled onto the Los Angeles Shelby American Automobile Club's 9th Annual Tony Sousa Memorial Car Show this morning. It was mind-boggling. Cobras! Classic Mustangs! GT40s! Sunbeam Tigers! http://www.lasaac.org/ http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o249/shnookylangston/Stuff/Shelby7_zps7ea5f789.jpg ...
