Re: Need some help with this one

Very cool, it appears to be in great shape. I’m thinking it’s Italian made, but you didn’t need me to tell you that. I hope someone can give you more information.

Re: Italian Leverlock Models

OMG those are so wicked awesome. My favorite is all three. They all have fabulous scales; the stag is simply incredible. I guess, I’d have to say the Coricama is my favorite favorite and the Latama second. The Virginia comes in third, but look at what it must compete against. I have a few Italian le...

Really cool variant. I really wonder why the Italian makers don't revisit some of these designs? I'd buy that, doubt I am the only one.

Make mine an 11" please, dark horn, red dot safety, and bayonet grind too.

Thx!

Re: Frank Beltrame hole in the blade

I’m guessing at their manufacturing process, maybe they’re drilling the pivot and sear holes through several stacked blades at the same time???
Sammy, it looks oval to me too. What’s up with that?? I hope it’s camera lens distortion.

Re: Interesting Discovery

Hi WWV,
I just looked at the two links you posted. I read the two posts. I remember them, thanks for bringing them back to life. You really have a fine piece of Italian vintage cutlery.

Re: Interesting Discovery

It does look like the same knife. Can the previous owner help you out confirming that it is the same knife? In any event it’s a wicked cool knife, a really nice vintage for your collection. Can you photograph the knife open and is there a stamp on it?

Re: Show your rams horn scales please

Hi Thom, I get it 2x2; taking the square edge off the knife scales isn’t a bad idea. You customize it. Nothing wrong with personalization. Here are a few more. I have at least one more. I’ll look for it later. Frank Beltrame 28 cm Humpback D798AC0C-A4A6-400A-AAB6-19081ABA45AF.jpeg Mikov customized w...
