13" Latama
I am lucky enough to have gotten my hands on a 13" Latama and an 11" M. Italy. Both knives have been poorly sharpened at some point. I know blades can be re-ground. I have chatted with Walt @ latama.net about the work. Who would the group recomend to work on a couple of nice old picklocks? chopper561

Re: A&B Cutlery
Yes it does look great, hard to shell out that kind of money without seeing it first hand though.

A&B Cutlery
Anyone ever see that tang stamp? Looks to be an old Italian picklock. What is the story on A&B Cutlery?

Re: Latama
I agree with you, sounds high, have you seen similar as shows? What were they going for? I am attending the Blade Show in Atlanta in a couple of weeks and was wondering what to expect price and quantity wise on good Italians.

Re: Latama
There is a 13" Latama on an auction page that bidding starts at $1,000, buy out at $1,800, condition looks average to good. What would you expect to pay?

Hell, Thaks for letting me join. I am new to this, have a few Beltrames. What does a 13" Latama command in the market these days and where is the best place to look?
