Re: price check?
more junk than not. They are similar to the Westbury sales knives of days gone by. They are a walk down memory lane for me as I had a fake button 13" as a kid. I bid up to $15 on it then stopped. I bet it will get $50 or more.....It seems like a pick lock which makes it a bit more valueable....

Re: Longevity of solid lockup
Gleen, I am 48 and have collected knives since I was 8, and until about ten years ago I never even checked how tight my blade was and would not have noticed unless it was extemely loose. On a few other balde forums they talk about blade play to an unbelievable amount. The answer to me is the Italian...

Gerber made good knives for years and now they are all trash. I have old Gerbers from the 80s and 90s, and about five new ones that are all AOs and all trash...

Re: 'Flick' or Gravity Knives...
Yes I bought three of them for $17 each with shipping on EBAY. They are very, very cheaply made. I collect alot of knives cheap and good. I like them as a part of my collection, but as a user ...they will fall apart in a week.

Re: wave open
The little "hook" on the back of the blade snags your pocket and opens the knife as you take it out of your pocket. They call it a wave opening since you tend to pull the knife in a upward movement inorder to makr sure the hook on the knife snags your pocket enough and that the blade fully opens.

Re: Cost of Falcons vs. Traditional Switches...
The spring, button , assembly and labor are a few bucks more at best so it all about the elusive nature of them. What I don't like is the fact that the non auto Falcons can be had much cheaper BUT they tend to have more time spent on them in regards to better fit, finish and polishing than their far...

Re: KISSING CRANE - MADE IN CHINA!
The stiletto style are made in Italy and always have been. Mostly by Falcon for Kissing Krane ( Robert Klass). There are other KKs that are made in Italy also. Linder and Boker have Asian Factories, but Klass does not as far as I know. Chris at World knives is doing a film on the German makers ,so a...

Re: 'Flick' or Gravity Knives...
I have picked up the 9" honey horn Falcons for as low as $5 on Ebay. The 11' were the same price as the 9" ones at SMKW, but they only carry the 9s now. Very good knives for the price.

Re: 'Flick' or Gravity Knives...
Jim, True gravity knives open in the same manner as an out the front with out the spring, instead gravity or the thrust of your wrist opens them. I have many Kissing Cranes and almost all can be flicked open and in NY and many other states that would make them a gravity knife by the legal definition...
