Just like Mikey, Barack is walking backwards on this issue and saying he didn't mean what he said! He said he is not discussing the "wisdom" of it! What a guy! Maybe if he helped ...

Re: Looking for info on a German Springer

Very interesting knife. The K55K markings are the same as the Mercator lockbacks. Never seen that marking or blade style before. The blade style looks like some older Japanese models?

Re: Please help me ID this knife

If you look at the "freddie goes to Italy" pictures, you will see some of this style knife in the collection of the collector who owns the handle material supply company ( the huge collection). I found them very interesting to look at as they looked unique.

Re: Movie Switch's

There was summer time series that ran in the 1970s called the Champions. It had a good amount of knives in it . The episode the Inisible man has a lever lock. For some reason I loved the show as a teen. I have one copy now of a few episodes and wonder why, but the blonde Alexanddra Bastedo was hot.....

Re: GC co m. Italy ?

That was the importer of them GCCO. They were well made older folders. They were imported after the switchblade ban, and were fairly sturdy knives. What condition are they in? They were mostly shipped unsharpen, but some had a weak edge.
