Their shipping is faster than greased lightening as well. I had my last order from them in 4 days.

They are bad ass!!! When it fires open, I think of a Mozart symphony or a Harley under heavy acceleration.

Re: FORUM KNIVES

Would we be better off considering an American maker, such as Ashville Steel/Paragon? Not sure how receptive an American maker would be to a small custom production run, but it would seem to avoid a lot of the problems we just encountered if they would.

Re: cupid 2.0 clone

I looked around but can't find any 2.0's. Sadly, what I did notice that surprised me is Stu no longer ships to California.
Any ideas why???

Re: FRANK B HUMPBACK

I just replaced my 8 year old computer. Got my new one at Best Buy. The kid who sold it to me was 20 years old. We were talking about modern day electronics. The Best Buy kid simply could not comprehend the concept of a telephone party line we had when I was a kid in the 50"s. The look on his face w...

Re: unhappy

For what it's worth, I've purchased from PVK on a number of occassions and never had a problem.
Ordering from overseas, given the customs issues, "ya pays ur money and ya takes ur chances."
Best bet, take a look at the good guys list on this forum.

Re: Knife

I would, any blade, any number. That said, if you find yourself jammed up, I'll make the sacrifice and take a refund. Whatever is easier from your end.

Re: Forum Knife

Hey, thx for the picture. What I did was print a copy and then I glued it to the handle of an old toothbrush and put it in the display case with my other classic Italians. When viewed at a distance, without my glasses, it don't look half bad!!!

Re: Fascinations

It's the CAPO pictured on KnifeShops website (see the good guys list). It's the one with the cutout at the top of the blade.
I've also got the Ladya model by CAPO as well as one of the Russian stillettos and a Russian leverlock called the Sniper. Heavy, no nonesense, industrial grade knives.

Re: Fascinations

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who likes a little bit of everything. I have wondered if I should be focusing on one particular style of knife or maker. Lately I've added a Russian tactical, which by the way was ordered from an Austrian web site and took only 8 days to arrive, and a couple of ...
