Re: Getting rid of old Moderators!!
You mean moderators that are confessed snitches, like you? People are laughing at you, Charley. Even the ones you sent PMs. The FBI weren’t laughing. They were dead serious. Better start hiding the hundreds of unregistered weapons at your house. So, explain what you mean by unregistered weapon in t...

Re: Rizzuto estileto milano knife
Panamex were ultra high quality knives made by the Coriama group. Panamex was located in the same building as Latama on Broadway in NYC. And there are tons and thousands of Japanese swing guards around. Just google search and you’ll see an endless number of them. They key to collecting them are two...

Re: Rizzuto estileto milano knife
That’s correct. In the book I’m putting together on the Japanese knives, I’m actually not even going to call many of the knife Rizzutos. That was one marking of dozens of stamps found on them. They were Japanese knives. Rizzuto was only popular because they were sold to American tourists in Mexico....

Re: Rizzuto estileto milano knife
It's my understanding, and I'll SURELY be corrected if I mis-understand, that the Italian swinguards came out in the 1960's. Giving the Japanese something to copy. They had already copied the Italian picklocks in the 1950's. So, I'm fairly sure they could not have produced the Rizzuto Estileto Mila...

Re: Rizzuto Estileto but no Milano?
It's probably from the mid 60s. There is no real history of these things. People "remember" getting them before that but people memories aren't very reliable, especially when they are in the form of sales descriptions. They did start showing up in movies in the mid 60s so I would guess that is when...

Re: Vintage Italian Switchblade Identification
As long as you didn't pay out the arse for it, no one ought to lose any teeth over the matter. The faux stag is rare but only raises value if someone is trying to find a stiletto of each scaling. Try not to think of "future value", and go only for what really turns your knobs  Glad you...

Re: New Mago (of Italy) OTF Knives.
I like the knife and started a post about it weeks ago on ShaperDeals, but I totally agree with Bill and Jim as to the miss marking with a fake company name is not acceptable. Listing the wrong country is also wrong, but there are many companies that do that too. The F-16 may have shipped out of It...
