Do you mean the Top Locks and Speed Locks? If so, my understanding is that the Speed Locks were factory auto and the Top Locks were manual from the factory and then could be converted to auto. Boker Button Locks
What is the story with Boker Button Locks? Models were made in Germany, Argentina, Taiwane, China. My understanding is a third party was employed to convert them to accept a coil spring. Who performed the necessary machining and did they convert other Brands?

I've also reported Fakes to them in the past. They play the DUM CARD, "oh, we didn't know", they are full of $hit.

I've had any number of these, fun knife. Very easy to disassemble, fun changing springs for different actions. The little 2in blade is my favorite.

I just put them together as they should be done. The available parts are very crude. If you look at older Hubertus knives, the bolsters are evenly contoured and rounded. Later knives are just squared off. Bill's finished product just melts together, in hand it's so obvious. This is the "before" pic...
