Amazing work. Wish you could convert mine, but I am pretty sure, I could not afford. Please keep posting pictures of your work.

Re: New, old job.....maybe.
Thanks everybody. I will see my old boss tomorrow and see if we can work it out. I think he might have an order that he can't make without getting those mills working or he would not have called me. That does not matter to me, except that being needed feels pretty good. And my hands still work, but ...

New, old job.....maybe.
I may be going back to work at the knife shop part time. My old boss can't get anyone to run his milling machines and asked me to help. Most of his work is by hand, but he does need some milled parts. I did enjoy that job. Wish me luck. I am 70 and mostly retired but do some Autocad work. I am not a...

Re: More love for cheap switchblades
A very nice knife. I see 300 made. I would call that a custom. I stand by my statement. I will try to clarify: of course there are exceptions, but as a rule quality and Italian does not go together.

Re: More love for cheap switchblades
Yep, they are china made with forged AKC stamps. I don't think the Italians ever made a knife like this, least I haven't seen one. But they are nice. I just ordered a 9" fake pearl. I have a couple of the bigger ones, which are nice, but the 9" seems to be the prettiest. I understand the hate about ...

Re: More love for cheap switchblades
So I can buy a fake knife from dhgate for 30$ or i can buy the same fake knife from grindworxs for 109$.
Buying from china, i know everything is fake, but some of it is pretty good. But from a company like grindworx to pass it off as italian and charge 3x the price is obscene. i think anyway.

Re: More love for cheap switchblades
I see Grindworx has these now, but they are terribly expensive. Could they be the real thing? Grindworx says they are from Italy, but they are identical to the knives above.

Re: More love for cheap switchblades
I have the same knife and also the white fake pearl one. I like a lot. I think the fake pearl one with one piece handle slabs is a beauty. I feel the lock is a little weak. But a good knife. I get mine from DH gate. They have a lot of good fake stuff. Was there ever an Italian in this style?

Re: Cheap switchblade: In progress
I carry mine everyday. All I did was grind off the glass breaker and inlet a bb under the lever because I couldn't get my thumb under it sometimes.
But yours is beautiful. All it takes is skill and a 20$ knife. The guy I worked for once, would put his name on it and sell for 100's$.

That image according to tineye is from turnbull knives 2010. the website doesn't seem to exist anymore but I can find some knives by Ralph Turnbull. They seem to be high end customs.
Know this doesn't help, but that picture was interesting. Where did you get the pic?

Re: How bad is my batch ?
No one knows. In the US we have Government agencies to make sure the citizens never get any factual info and pay big bucks to all the big media to promote the vax. And most of our leaders have stock in big pharma. The info you posted keeps showing up. And "died suddenly" deaths are I think 400% high...
